Middle management was excellent but lower level staffers (workers) were way overworked. Cult like owner and peculiar HR contributed to a very odd and ineffective upper management style.

Fantastic, smart people to work with all around. We are listened to and supported in making improvements. The work is extremely interesting. I'm always learning. Ora has some unique offerings that makes it a leader in its niche.

Great employees and opportunities for travel that quickly becomes old within a year
Cons
Rampant spending and out of touch executives who overly rely on the waning patience of front line and client facing workers. Low level employees are often left to carry most of the burden and put in positions where they have to make decisions outside of their authority, scope, preparation or actual physical capabilities.

I am beyond appreciative that Ora encourages a culture in which employees can have conversation about their personal career trajectory with management. Hard work does not go unnoticed at Ora.

A lot of turnover has negatively impacted other employees who have had to pick up the slack, oftentimes minimizing if not erasing a work life balance to keep Ora running.

Travel is fun for a while. Direct supervisors and middle management seem to care but can't do anything about the poor department leadership.
Cons
Everything. Bad pay. No hours. Promises of overtime that they don't keep. Zero leadership. Company would rather nickel and dime their front line workers instead of look at the real problems. Losing money left and right due to poor department management. Spending millions and millions on a stupid island rather than pay their workers a fair wage. No one is happy about the island, they just pretend to be because anyone that goes against the CEO gets fired (see high turnover rate).
