    Pros

Globally present company. As such, depending on your team, you may never rarely have to set foot in an office. This is certainly a leg up on Amazon.

    Cons

No maternity/paternity leave. If such a situation should arise, your options are unpaid leave or file for disability if you’re the mother carrying.

    I worked at Oracle full-time

    Pros

    *Large stable company, infrequent layoffs.
    *Good gym
*If you are comfortable pushing back and saying no, you can have pretty good work-life balance.
*Comprehensive (but expensive) health plan options including dental and vision.
    *Very good 401k options.
*Flexible hours and remote work available depending on manager

    Cons

*Although benefits are decent, monetary compensation is laughable. Don't expect raises, bonuses, or stock unless you have an exceptional manager willing to fight for you or you want to work startup hours for half startup pay.
*Not many options for working with new technologies. Oracle innovates by acquiring.
*Experience can vary wildly depending on your manager.
*Limited lactation room options (HQ) with terrible scheduling system.

    Advice to Management

Employees are also people. Try not laughing at them when they ask about things like paternity leave. Recognize that most of your employees live in a county where a family of 4 making $100k a year qualifies for government assistance, and make your compensation competitive.
