    I worked at Orange full-time

    Pros

funky office, social staff, agile and open environment, very creative, decent pay, plenty of opportunities

    Cons

disorganised, chaotic, no training, thrown in the deep end with no training and then supervisors went for holiday and when they returned, was blamed for others mistakes and terminated without explanation

    Advice to Management

create procedures, organise, don't try and do cutting edge creative techniques all the time

I worked at Orange as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good work and life balance. The food provided in the cantine is very nice. The people around are nice and friendly.

    Cons

Old technologies are used. Poor communication between different departments. Some internal tools are based on windows, which are poorly developped and maintained.

    Advice to Management

Good place for reaserchers with PhD degree, not a suitable company for real developpers.

I have been working at Orange (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are always opportunities to learn on the job. Orange Labs encourage using newest technologies. You will be working on new technologies all the time. Company encourages and in many occasions pays for employees development.
Amazing team spirit, the overall atmosphere is great.
You don't really need to work overtime or after hours (which is common in other companies in Egypt)

    Cons

    - Salary is low compared to the rest of the market
    - Work space is currently crammed, but expansion plans underway (very likely by 4th quarter of 2015)
    - Too much side discussions and distractions may render some days not so productive (crammed space is probably the reason, but that is on its way to be solved in few months)

    Advice to Management

    - Enhancement in work area would be welcomed (plans are already underway)
    - Increased average salary would be great (but wouldn't personally sacrifice learning and growing for salary)
    - Have a more permissible work from home policy would be welcomed

I have been working at Orange full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    * Orange Labs mainly focus on learning and increasing technical skills of people working inside.
    * their hiring process is tough but very worth it.
    * we have a lot of fun during our work
    * we work with cutting-edge technologies and methods.
    * people are motivated to make a difference and do great things
    * if you have big experience you will still learn a lot from everyone there.

    Cons

    * there is no customer interfacing if you are seeking one.
    * salaries are not very good (about average although they target to hire the best! )

    Advice to Management

    * you have to increase the salaries of your current employees comparing to competitive companies

I worked at Orange full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It's a big company, pretty well set. You can learn a lot about what "corporate culture" and "company values" mean. They offer fair salaries afaik, and they don't overwork their employees.

    Cons

When a team manager leaves, they tend to bring in somebody from outside the team rather than promote a team member to manager. There's a lot of interdepartmental politics going on.
