I have been working at OrangePeople full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Solid IT Consulting Firm that treats its employees well! Having worked for Orange People for a year and a half, I can say that this is the best Consulting Firm that I have been a part of so far. I see solid growth potential for the company and therefore this provides a sense of security in the volatile IT consulting world.

    Cons

Lack of training opportunities in order to provide its employees with more knowledge and therefore more leverage.

    Advice to Management

Have regular tactical and strategic meetings... and actually pursue initiatives for clients in order to assist in company growth. More face time with the clients. Training opportunities for employees.

I have been working at OrangePeople full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have worked with several consulting firms and this firm stands head and shoulders above the rest. Orangepeople's staff are knowledgeable, considerate and will go the extra mile to create an environment to do your best work. Highly recommended.

    Cons

None that I can think of. The company is small enough to give you individual attention, but large enough to have achieved preferred vendor status at some important companies with great opportunities.

I have been working at OrangePeople full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

OrangePeople has some of the best Enterprise Architects and Project Managers in Southern California. There are always great technical discussions, colleagues to bounce ideas off of and learn from. The overall corporate environment is enjoyable with happy hours and monthly lunches.

    Cons

As a consulting company its easy to get isolated in your own project, but everyone does a good job of being supportive.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be transparent and open with changes at the company.

    Pros

I have been working as a project Coordinator on a contract basis for Orange People for approx. 9 months and have already received a 5% raise! OP is a relatively new consulting firm and is well on it's way on making a mark in the IT world. The people are easy going and really give you a sense of what it means to have an "open door policy". This is my first experience working with a consulting firm and I must say, I can't see myself going elsewhere for contract work.

    Cons

Every organization has its cons. In smaller organizations the cons stand out so they can be quickly dealt with.
