Communication can be muddled at times, with the same goal not being expressed throughout the organization. Teams work in silos and are not aware of what other teams have implemented (and vice-versa). -bonuses are very hard to obtain and based on outrageous sales plans -driving sales and running an operationally sound store isn't valued much anymore -no set training/development program for store managers looking to move up -very dated technology within stores
