Unfortunately, the experience of that of my own and my fellow colleagues here was deeply disappointing. The leadership team consistently failed to take accountability for ownership, preferring instead to deflect blame onto others or circumstances. They were unwilling to hear or accept bad news, which created a culture where honesty and transparency were stifled. Multiple rounds of redundancies with no empathy. The constant refrain of being “bootstrapped” was used as an excuse for poor decisions that overburdened key members of the team. Flexible working is used as an opportunity to work employees to 60+ hour weeks. This led to burnout, and unsurprisingly, the best employees have left or actively looking to leave. The environment negatively impacts mental health, and at least one senior leader described by a number of colleagues as manipulative, dismissive of well-being, and self-serving behaviours. If you value your mental health and career progression, I would strongly advise against joining this company.
