I worked at Oregon Child Development Coalition full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits package is one of the best I've had.

    Cons

Poor working environment, hostile conditions, micro-managing, favortism

    Advice to Management

Pay closer attention to what is going on with your low level employees. Don't bury your head in the sand and believe everything that your mid management says is going on. You have favortism going on by mid management and when complaints get filed your HR department blows it off as not important.

    Pros

Great people to work with. Not many old timers left. Quality mission. Most employees make enormous sacrifices for the agency.

    Cons

Board of Directors must not be aware of how the Executive Director is driving the Agency right in the ground. CFO makes decisions that impact the agency negativity without Excutive Directors knowledge.

    Advice to Management

Write a letter to a board member with your personal observations.
