I worked at Oregon State University part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Undergrad research at OSU can be a great start to your career. Remember it is EXTREMELY important to conduct research/internship in your area of study especially when you end up applying for full time jobs. It is also great to network with professionals in the academic sphere or gain references and, of course, EXPERIENCE.

    Cons

There is *almost* no opportunity for upward movement in research assistant jobs. It might seem like a dead-end job at times- just stick with it and graduate.
