    I worked at Orga Systems full-time

    Pros

    Their prepaid billing system is fast and accurate for a real time engine.
    The company is blesses i Germany by some very open minded and global leadership attitude

    Cons

    - No global vision. The company is trying to open the Middle East, Africa and Asian market but with no vision nor direction
    - The middle east office in Dubai has very bad resources
    - a lot of their additional products [aside of the prepaid billing] is not mature with no road maps. At some stages it was conveyed as existing products to clients but it is a lie
    - The overall management is the HQ doesn't have any moral toward the rights of their international employees
    - They are not honest and this is a major reason why they cannot get any proper business in MEA region

    Advice to Management

    - Until you have a proper vision for the international expansion, better is to close all your international offices.
    - Be honest to employees and don't steal the rights and benefits of employees
    - Almost all of the people who lift your company they talk badly about Orga Systems. This is clear indication that you have no culture as a company and you have one of the worst HR division seen in the telecom sector in the region
    - When a clear vision is developed for international expansion, please don't send people from Germany to run the show, do try to bring on board people who can create international culture and later synergy with the office in Germany, and last to build up a business

    Pros

    flexible work schedule and low stress (in Paderborn)

    Cons

    No vision of Product Development, or Product Management. A prepaid company with a prepaid mentality and no understanding of the their supposed markets (e.g. convergent billing in Telco, automotive, or energy). No concept or appreciation for quality or flexibility or configurability in the implemented product but rather an addiction to destabilizing hacks and an endless step-wise approach. Current product set is far from a converged solution, more like a system of a "1000 islands". Persistent conflict between development & consulting is at the expense of customer. Lack of customer focus by all levels, customer comes last. Terrible project management. Management has no regard for employees or customers and is incredibly unethical. Toxic mobbing mentality driven out of Paderborn is the status quo. Claim to be "#1 in billing"...really, where?

    Advice to Management

    Wake up. Your prepaid architects are not going to learn BSS, postpaid, or convergent billing if they haven't done so by now. Look at what the projects are telling you. The same prepaid mentality keeps killing convergent and postpaid projects. Before buying into the mobbing mentality, talk to the few people actually doing the work. Hire people with real experience, not doctor titles. The projects need real project managers and solution architects with real convergent experience (you might have to pay). Stop trying to take the cheap way out with unqualified cheap resources. Stabilize the product by fixing the root cause problems instead of continuing to build a house of cards. The defects tell a common story and highlight the gaps. Force a common vision and a product approach across the development silos and integrate the products. Stop shooting the messengers and driving away the few qualified people you have. Nail down the scope of the projects and get the requirements signed off.

    The original company structure did worked well, the changes has killed the company
