    Pros

Very different line of work, good educational opportunities, diverse from day-to-day

    Cons

Management consists of "owners." Constantly reminded of this and belittled constantly. Work not autonomous. Exempt employees work a lot of hours and not offered any flexibility whatsoever.

    Advice to Management

Management need to take courses in HR and employee relations.

  2. "Good at beginning, but when challenged or threatened by others, became unbearable/micromanaged and rude to clientele."

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    Worked with great organizations
Helped them grow, brought back enthusiasm to members, regained new life to organization
Organization realized I wanted what was best for organization, not a popularity contest
Enjoyed being fully responsible for all work rather than depending on others less capable
Enjoyed nurturing and building organizations to full potential
Full trust in abilities to follow through with tasks

    Cons

Very haphazard accounting of funds--even with employee payments
Proceedures were management way or highway, even when organization deems different
Condescending to clients, clients did not want to communicate with management--only with 'handeler'
Did not allow time to address certain types of inquiries from members--told to shuffle off to another employee who was present one day per week
Had to watch your back all the time, management would try to 'snag you up' on anything' including time off, time worked, reimbursements, pay increases, signing unrealistic employment contracts for far more time than normal, etc.

    Advice to Management

Need to trust employee when gut feeling and previous experience proves true, micromanaging not for the experienced employee that proves themselves, honest rewards for stellar employees, work with not against employees. Be honest and fair with employees.
