    Great city location, easy access to transport and restaurants, some flexible work options, some internal professional development opportunities, staff electricity bill discounts.

    Cons

    Heavily siloed structure, lacking collaborative culture, "head in the sand" approach to problem solving, interdepartmental staff not encouraged to be respectful of each other.

    Decent pay Flexible work hours if you don't compromise deliverables

    Doesn't promote innovation Management do not listen to the advice of the technical experts that they hire If you stick your neck out to address or escalate an issue, they will chop it off Their culture and initiatives are a shroud to help mask their shady practices Doesn't care about individual employees Withholds information crucial to your career No progression opportunities No forethought into change management Ancient technology stack Management have big heads but no skills Management not armed with skills required to keep staff happy High stress environment The technical management extremely under skilled Top level contractors are assigned the work suitable for a jr. developer Bad for anyone that cares about keeping their resume in good shape for the next role Introduces legacy, outdated and vulnerable frameworks and sells it to stakeholders as bleeding edge
