Frequent market adjustments to support recruitment and more importantly retention, "Just Culture, " autonomy, tuition reimbursement, will pay for specialty certification, generous paid time off (especially for longer length of service), progressive leadership styles, flexible scheduling, educational opportunities, leadership development, working towards Magnet, level I trauma center, burn center, stroke center, etc., open to feedback and suggestions from frontline managers, collaborative atmosphere, promotion of succession planning, and fun, history of high performing teams.

History of disconnect between C suite and the bedside, are more reactive and not proactive, too many meetings, hard to make time for bedside staff, competitive pay is still lower than competitor, frequently changing bonus structures, behind on workplace violence prevention, still rely too heavily on agency/travel RNs. They are addressing all those concerns and the etc.
