I worked at Oroville Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome people to work with. Doctors are nice, the co-workers are cool. I loved working at Oroville Hospital. I worked in a podiatry clinic and was awesome.

    Cons

The clientele. Patients are very non-compliant and feel like they are entitled to things. There is an obvious abuse of 911 calls and use of hospital system

    Pros

Oroville Hospital has an incredible staff of highly dedicated team members. They are culture built on a foundation of compassion. This is evident in every staff member.

    Cons

After 13 years of service, I have yet to experience anything I would identify as a downside to working for Oroville Hospital. It's just a phenomenal place to work.

I worked at Oroville Hospital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A friendly place to work, a community in need, folks with good hearts who care. Decent pay, decent management, good benefits for a small company. I liked working here.

    Cons

Facility itself needs to evolve, expand, and modernize. EHR not optimal, some departments are behind with new equipment. Facility is a little bit remote geographically.

    Advice to Management

Make the investment, business will grow. You are doing well, believe in the future!

    Pros

Everyone is willing to lend a hand. As a housekeeper, there are a lot of nurses and tech who aren't afraid to jump in and strip a room if I'm in a pinch.

    Cons

You're on your feet a lot. You have to move fast to finish your work load.

I worked at Oroville Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Oroville Hospital has a great nursing staff that provides a friendly work environment. The managers have an open door policy and are available to staff.

    Cons

My biggest complaint was staffing calls on day off, but if you are wanting to have overtime I guess this can be considered a good thing.

    Advice to Management

I think they are working really hard to make Oroville Hospital a better place for both staff and patients. Keep up the good work.
