I have been working at OshKosh B'gosh part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very team oriented, if there is open communication and friendly bonds the manager/supervisors are flexible with your schedule, Pays pretty decent Espically if you have prior experience

    Cons

Lets face it retail is well retail. When it rains its slow. Sometimes people are rude. Sometimes supervisors let tgat title get to their head and make the sales associate do a lot of the work so they can do what they want.

    Advice to Management

I honestly love the company! I work hard and enjoy my compliments a lot but wish that if a person is exceptional at a job they begin training for a higher position. Also, if someone is better at one task over the others they stick to a certain task. Train in others but they are solely responsible for their main task (ie: im great at execution , train me in other areas of the store but my sole role is execution). Teach supervisors that even thoughthey have a bigger role than a sale associate doesn't excuse them from leaving task all onto the sales associate.

I worked at OshKosh B'gosh full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    There were plenty of hours

    Cons

Hot environment, low pay, sketchy location, loud, unorganized, short break with long hours, restricted to where you can go while on a break.. plus the spot you clock in at is no where near the exit. You often work more than 14 days in a row with 10 hour shifts . And on top of that, there were significant issues when it came to receiving a pay check..

    Advice to Management

    change professions

I worked at OshKosh B'gosh part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This would be a good place to work if you had kids and could use the employee discount , but I didn’t.
    Nice co workers

    Cons

The store was very dusty. I was always stuck as cashier. They didn’t offer breaks if I worked for 4 hours. Co workers were nice but not really around my age. I would always get my hours cut and there weren’t many to begin with.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice to get a stable amount of hours per week. Better cleaning requirements.

    I worked at OshKosh B'gosh part-time

    Pros

Very laidback environment. Most customers have been shopping with the company for years. 25% employee discount (on top of the usual sales and promotions in store.)

    Cons

The store encourages every shopper to sign up with Rewarding Moments, which can be a struggle sometimes since customers don't like sharing personal information (even though it's just an email address.)
