    I would still be with Oshkosh if I didn't have to relocate for personal reasons. This was by far the best place I've ever worked.

    Really flexible to school schedule and needs

    Spread out campus so not a lot of interaction with other interns

    More intern social events because of broad size of campus

    - Products that Make a Difference (un-coincidently very cool as well)
    - Stable company with diverse end markets and a global presence (2017 is 100 year anniversary)
    - Genuine Leadership Team that has a reputation for developing, implementing, and executing sustainable strategic initiatives
    - FLEXABLE work Hours (half day's on Friday's are common across departments)
    - Premium brands which are well recognized and respected
    - Lots of promotion opportunities especially as company continues to grow
    - Continuous Improvement is part of OSK DNA with a fantastic annual awards event that gives large cash donations to community organizations (winner's choice)
    - OSK Values Ethical Behavior (only large Defense contractor with NO ETHICAL VIOLATIONS)

    Room for improvement in office facilities.

    Pros

    Who wouldn't want to work for a company that builds grown up toys. Firetrucks, military vehicles, cement mixers, and much more. There is a culture to flexible for hours, easy to communicate with leadership, and excellent opportunities for growth. Offers Great benefits. Company always wants to be what's best for people, community, and area.

    Cons

    Close to snowmobiling, hunting and fishing opportunities.

    Working for an organization that truly makes a difference in our customers lives and feeling the Oshkosh pride no matter what function/segment you support
    A CEO that not only preaches a people first culture but displays it and cascades that style of leadership enterprise wide
    Pay is very competitive and benefits are above average
    Flexibility as it relates to work/life balance is strong
    Opportunities that allow for professional growth through either job advancements or educational workshops you can sign up for that is company paid

    Cons

    With there being several segments and so many key stakeholders, voice of customer has to be heard from all areas and this can make it hard to move projects along and things can get dragged out longer than needed

    Pros

    - With a new CEO we've seen the culture change around Oshkosh Corporation tremendously. We are now truly People First.
    - Now practicing work place flexibility year-round, not just "summer hours"
    - Leadership (in my department) is really focused on hearing what we have to say rather than solely taking on their own ideas
    - I feel valued and that I'm making a difference within the organization
    - Vast amount of community involvement and volunteer opportunities

    Cons

    - Some managers/directors are still "adjusting" to work place flexibility and the culture change

    Advice to Management

    - This company is growing in such a positive way that we don't need negativity holding us back. If you're not changing with the culture, it might be time to move on.
