    Pros

    Cons

No growth and advancement. You can work hard but no recognition of your hard work and time. Your goals don't matter.

    Advice to Management

Give people a chance to grow even if you think they will fail or couldn't do the job. Everyone deserves that chance to prove themselves. If someone has a goal it would be nice to work with them to get there.

I worked at Oticon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great colleagues. It used to be a good company to work for. Then the Danish imperialism imposed IT marshal law and all the good IT people were either let go or they moved on when potions started to get outsourced to India.

    Cons

Poor management. No room for promotion. Poor pay. A HR department which is services its own interests above their employees. Questionable senior management decisions. Poor company ethics.

    Advice to Management

Stop outsourcing. Hire great talent from within. Stop taking huge bonuses yourself and increase the base salary for everyone.

I worked at Oticon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A handful of people were really nice. Building is nice. Open floor plan. Ergonomic desks. View of mountains on one side of the building. Cafe good food at a good price.

    Cons

Does not promote within for sales. If they do it's an extreme rare case. Upper management is horrible. They throw everyone under the bus. It's every man for themselves. All managers want to do is find a reason to fire you. Over worked. Under paid. No respect. No appreciation. Stressful. If you didn't make it to work on time it could mean you'd be fired. Constantly fearful you'll do something wrong. It's all about how well you can rub elbows with the right people and ,hide your mistake by pinning it on other people. HR never did anything about a sexual harassment complaint. Asked the victim if they told the offender if they told them to stop or it wasn't appreciated.

    Advice to Management

Clean house with upper management. Promote from within. Appreciate your employees.
