I worked at Otis College of Art and Design full-time

    Pros

Small Institution, get to know students, faculty, and staff. Most are good people.

    Cons

Beware of the VP. She does not hesitate to crush and run over anyone in her way. She wants to be the next president. In the last 2 years, I have seen her bully others and get rid of good people just because she didn't like them. She does not act with integrity. She pretends to like people but then she'll stab them behind their backs. She is dragging down morale.

    Advice to Management

Someone needs to hold her accountable for her actions. Unbridled power corrupts. If the college wants to thrive, it needs to remove her.

      Doesn't Recommend
      Negative Outlook

I worked at Otis College of Art and Design full-time

      Pros

Some remaining staff are committed to improving campus life.

      Cons

Low staff morale, institutional financial health, frequent departures of qualified staff including an exodus of well regarded leaders in 2017, culture of secrecy and blame among administrators, poor student participation in campus life

      Advice to Management

Better oversight of expenditures, resource utilization recommended. Less tolerance for culture of bullying and incompetence among remaining campus leaders and faculty.
