    Pros

Enjoy working with the students and the faculty.

    Cons

A bit tough to catch a student up with curriculum when they have missed a 3 hour class.

I have been working at Otis College of Art and Design part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Otis is one of the most collegial college campuses I've worked on. My course content is accepted and supported by my department chairs.

    Cons

Pay scale is on the low side for Lecturers.

    Advice to Management

Continue to allow staff to teach courses, and to find opportunities for students, faculty, staff, managers and admin to collaborate.

I have been working at Otis College of Art and Design part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The working environment here is very conducive as it works around your classes. You make your own schedule. You are also allowed some sick days which is also very beneficial so you are not pressured to overwork yourself in order t make an extra buck.

    Cons

For a student you can only work for a maximum of 20 hours a week which is good when you have a tight schedule but if you have more free time it would be good to be able to earn from more hours.

I worked at Otis College of Art and Design (Less than a year)

    Pros

This was a fun school, met a lot of great people! The classes taught SO much in just one semester. It was a great school to learn about my future career; fashion. The mentor projects were demanding but always worth it in the end.

    Cons

This school has very VERY rigorous courses. One really has to test themselves and always try their best in order to get the most out of the classes. Deadlines are crazy here! Never procrastinate.

    Advice to Management

The school sometimes has to learn to communicate through everyone, especially the teachers.

I worked at Otis College of Art and Design part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great facilities and students. Great teachers.

    Cons

Adjunct / Part-timers are underpaid @ 42.00 an hr. and no raises in 6 years.

    Advice to Management

Pay your adjuncts a decent wage and maybe they will stick around.
