I have been working at Ourisman Automotive full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Comparing to all other automotive companies, Ourisman Group provides a great, professional environment for a driven self-motivator. You work hard, you make money. In regard to benefits, there are medical and dental coverage available to an employee after 90 days of employement; 401k, short- and long-term disability and vacation pay (starting from 1 week to 3 weeks after 20 years (I believe) of being with the company). Anyone who works hard can be promoted within the company (e.g., from sales to management) after a year or so working at Ourisman.

    Cons

Although you can make some serious money, you must be a hard worker who's ready to sacrifice a large chunk of your time to be able to do so. Regardless of your position (i.e., sales, management, service), you work long hours, sometimes 9am to 11pm. Don't make any plans for any holidays, weekends or any nights (unless it's your day off). Again, you can make money but be prepare to spend a lot of time at the store.

    Advice to Management

Work-life balance is not a new concept. People need time off to spend with their loved ones. Otherwise, people get burned-out and become unproductive or simply leave. Money is not everything. Help your employees to find a good balance - without making them feeling guilty for wanting to spend more time outside of work - and they'll be happy and efficient. Good luck!

I worked at Ourisman Automotive full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Ourisman Chantilly Toyota had specialists to "deliver" the cars - meaning the customers had a specialist, not a salesman to explain the technology before leaving

    Cons

In 2011 they only had 3 slow computers for a staff of 20+.
Stand outside like cigarette smoking vultures, and/or under the street lamps essentially saying, "Hey baby, wanna buy a Toyota?"

    Advice to Management
