Great software platform that is positioned for a great future. Benefits and pay are very competitive. There is opportunity to work from home in the US as well as travel. The best thing about working at Outsystems is the quality of people that you will be working with. It is a first class organization.

Cons

Pros

Great product, bringing innovation and speed to IT! Leadership is knowledgeable and committed to the long term success of the company and in constantly improving a product which is already a leader in it's space. Lots of investment and new opportunities everywhere with a large variety of customers, in several verticals, which keep everyone highly motivated and exposed to something new in every engagement.

Cons

Some growing pains as new people join, teams get bigger and more distributed and the bar is set higher and higher, with all the competition trying to do the same.

Pros

OutSystems is definitely the best company I've worked for in my growing career. I've held positions at other similar companies, but the collaborative culture is simply the best. The product is amazing, and you can see that just from other product and analyst sites, but beyond that, the people working behind the scenes really are what makes the product and company what it is today. The company is showing... tremendous growth, but even during a time of growth, they continue to push innovative boundaries, offering an open minded culture where innovation comes first. Everyone that I've encountered is polite and courteous, and always willing to offer a helping hand. After all, we're all on the same ship.

Cons

There aren't many cons. The usual hiccups you see with any company with tremendous growth. You'll run into a lot of scenarios where you have to test test test, but it's only to ensure the most positive outcomes in your work. Also, sometimes you'll realize you can be in meetings all week, but with the right time management and support, you really won't run into those issues of not meeting goals.

Advice to Management

Keep growing as you are and be aware of future leadership underneath you.

From a pure ecosystem perspective, it's exciting to be able to offer partners the opportunity to build out an OutSystems practice, increasing revenue streams. It's also incredibly rewarding to hear how partners are using our technology to save their customers money, improve customer experiences, and in a fraction of the time normally spent. It's a great time to be a part of low-code development and to be working... with colleagues around the globe who are all invested in the success of our brand.

Cons

Rome wasn't built in a day; building a brand takes time, and consistency.

Advice to Management

Next to an emerging, impressive and sophisticated technology, there must be communication.

Pros

Excellent product, really talented people in all areas of the business who are always willing to help, strong leadership team, and great opportunity to lead in rapidly expanding multi-billion dollar market.

Continue to make investments in marketing to build brand awareness, in customer success programs, and strategic partnerships to fuel growth.

OutSystems has a wonderful work atmosphere. No micromanagement. Fast paced industry and growing. Huge growth potential. If you put in the effort and don't lie to yourself about it, you will definitely reap what you sow, and be successful.

Cons

As with any smaller company, there area growing pains and constant change. If that is something you fear, its not a good fit. Same goes for if you do not like stepping out of your comfort area. Also not a good fit

Advice to Management

Continue to hire smart and driven members for the sales teams. Also, continue to provide accurate forecast and roadmap paths as we grow as an organization
