I have been working at Oversee.net full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Over the past several months Oversee has taken great strides to improve it's core businesses that include consumer finance and travel. Management empoyers all employees to have a voice and the has really forged everyone's commitment to working hard in seeing the roll-out of new products. It is a pleasure coming into work everyday to collaborate with smart and talented poeple, who also know how to have fun. The creative office environment is also a nice change from the cubicle centric offices I have worked at in the past. It's also nice that the company caters lunch every friday.

    Cons

Oversee's core businesses are in a challenging space.

    Advice to Management

Keep focusing on technology and the development of the young but talented tech team. Keep the lines of communication open, which will help foster a sense of ownership and responsibility.

    Pros

New strategy to pivot towards mobile and consumer is promising, especially since this company has assets that most startups struggle to acquire: traffic and monetization. New CEO in Debra has brought in a breath of fresh air and tech-focus to this company. Most of the negative reviews here are from ex-employees under prior leadership.

    Cons

Need some focus, don't try too many things, do a couple of things well.

    Advice to Management

Continue to bring in A-level talent to complement the great people here.

    Pros

The CEO understands that human collateral is the most important asset this company possesses! The recent focus of hiring great talent has paid off. We have a new CTO and engineers that are helping the company innovate and build great things. Definitely an exciting time to be working here.
Great benefits (health insurance, 401k,bonuses, free catered lunches on Fridays, paid gym membership, employee lounge, fuse ball, pool table, darts, etc .)
    Flexible schedule
    Awesome coworkers and company culture.
    Innovative environment

    Cons

Currently there is no 401k matching by the company.

I have been working at Oversee.net full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A relatively small company (~100 employees) means every employee can influence the company; the executives are generally very open to input from anyone.

Oversee has huge amounts of data, and lots of interesting, challenging technical problems to work on.

My coworkers are pretty much all bright, friendly, and effective.

    Cons

I wish my commute were shorter, and I wish we had more people so we could tackle more challenges at once.

    Advice to Management

Management (or possibly the board) should be more willing to commit to a few big bets. On the bright side, this seems to be changing; the company is starting to become more customer focused.

    Pros

People are great and most actually enjoy being here. They have also done a good job of adding some really good talent recently. They are finally showing some innovation, new products, faster dev cycles. Offices are great, fun activities and they seem to be really trying to engage with employees.

    Cons

Still focused on short term profitability though mindset has been changing recently. They need to upgrade some of their technology (windows XP? Dell?).

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you have been doing the last few months, it seems to be working.

I have been working at Oversee.net full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I am amazed by the talent here. We have hardworking and talented people on the tech team. I am part of the tech team, and also have a good relationship with the business. I've read the other reviews, and there are challenges, but to me that is a good thing. There's no point in working somewhere without challenges. What value can you bring if there are no challenges?

    Cons

Like most places, there are some with less than positive attitudes, but the leadership is doing their best to make it a good place to work.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on long term goals, and explain how the goals will be achieved.

I have been working at Oversee.net full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am a firm believer in ROWE - results only work environment, and oversee.net seems to be a company that operates under the ROWE mentality rather than the number of hours one puts in.

    Cons

There seems to be a high amount of turnover lately. Would be nice to have a front desk person again for our visitors.

    Advice to Management

I can't remember the last time we had a company meeting to discuss what's going on with our company. Once a month company meeting would be nice, perhaps.

    I worked at Oversee.net full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I spent many years working in this company, and the company environment let employees to learn and grow in their own speed.

You can quickly test new ideas and actually measure the business impact. Managers are very supportive and they will greatly appreciate your talent and work.

People in the company are very professional at what they do, but also very nice and friendly. And there are small number of individuals who seems to know about everything.

So, even if google fails you, you can get your answers from those individuals.

    Cons

    Oversee.net logo is outdated.
There are many projects but not enough people for adequate support.

    Advice to Management

Regularly communicate to employees about business.
