I have been working at Oxford Immunotec full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Strong culture. Good people. Potential to grow over next few years as the company adds products.

    Cons

Company has been through a lot of change over the last year. Quest appears to be getting smoother, which was the biggest change last year.

    Pros

Flexible with call outs/ vacation time. Work was simple enough to follow.

    Cons

Company was bought out by Quest, employees fled in groups, plenty of uncertainty as far as job security

I have been working at Oxford Immunotec full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Ambitious company with a desire to grow. - Does reward those who have contributed a lot (promotions, salary increases). - Performance based salary increases are decent.

    Cons

    - Overall management of projects and work is bad. There is a lack of communication and direction from senior management to the "boots on the ground". - There is a serious lack of strong project management. Most work is planned and performed on short notice and off-the-cuff. This results in very unrealistic expectations and timelines, in turn resulting in a lot of employee dissatisfaction. - Salary is quite low for the geographical area, position, and level of experience. - Overall employee satisfaction is very low. For such a small company there is a very high turnover. People (often good people) are constantly leaving. Many of them haven't been at the company long. I can't speak to other areas of the company, but clearly this speaks to larger widespread issues at the company. From my vantage point, this appears to largely be due to poorly organized and managed work and projects and unrealistic expectations for quantity of work and timelines for work.

I have been working at Oxford Immunotec full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are some good people still remaining, but there is also a mass exodus of great talent going on. Pay is decent.

    Cons

New COO has completely changed the culture and doesn’t listen to feedback from reps on the front lines. Sales being punished for major operational missteps - it’s mind boggling. Headed downhill all around
