I have been working at Oxford Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Great management team
    - Always aiming to challenge me
    - Opportunity to grow and get promoted
    - Unlimited Money Potential
    - Great work/ life balance
    - Great professional growth

I have worked here for over 5 years and I have been promoted three times since I have been here. I love the challenge of recruiting and how it has helped me grow as a professional and as a person. Since Day 1, I have not had a day where I haven't learned something new. Also, Oxford has a tight nit internal team so it is easy to create great relationships with other recruiters and staff. Oxford has been a great place to learn the ins and out of recruiting and has created a long term career fit for me.

    Cons

The ups and downs of recruiting can make it hard sometimes. Sometimes things go my way and other times they do not. Having the ability to overcome the minor obstacles is what makes recruiting even more rewarding for me when things go together like they should.

    Advice to Management

    Keep challenging me!

I have been working at Oxford Solutions full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Very good people - the CEO has done an exceptional job identifying and attracting some very talented people that are not only experts in staffing, but operate with integrity at all times. The culture is great - solid core values and managed in a way to get the very best out of everyone. Fun place to work - CEO is very involved and creative - finds ways to make it fun and rewarding for everyone.

    Cons

There is no downside to working for this company!

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I worked at Oxford Solutions (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of great people, good atmosphere, great owner, and a great opportunity to make some serious money.

    Cons

The work was decent but very monotonous. Plan on making 50 calls a day and living off a $24k/year base salary.

    Advice to Management

Increase the base salary to a minimum $35k/year. When placements are slow, morale kinda drops a bit.

    Pros

cool place to work. People are nice, and it's a semi-laid back office environment. It's also nice when you can be an actual positive influence in someone's life

    Cons

Pay isn't that great. You need to work for a while before the money starts to really roll in

    Advice to Management

    Make the base salary higher

I worked at Oxford Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros. This company hires people for no discernable reason and the following week, they fire whoever is the least productive waiting on deck.

    Cons

The management team consists of the owner who portrays himself as someone who wants to "Make a difference" in the lives of others. The problem is, he doesn't know what he's doing. As a result, he hires and fires recruiters like their personal lives don't matter. He has no idea how to hire a strong employee and once he does stumble across one, he has no idea how to keep them. It's a revolving door of recruiters. There's a has-been operations person who sees himself as God and a Sales team that is clueless. If you make it through the door you'll earn 25-30K base and be expected to make up the balance of a living wage off their bonus percentage.

    Advice to Management

The time and money you spend on Sandler training might be better spent educating yourself on what it means to manage a team. The most powerful leadership tool you have is your own personal example...

    Pros

Nothing to right home about. Employees that I deal with are great. But not Company philosophy.

    Cons

The most ungrateful company that I have worked in my 40 years of Service. Over 3 years of Contract and not one single $ increase. I requested OS that I am retain with my current company for past 3 years and requested 1 or 2 Dollars increase in my rate without asking the company that is employing me. During Xmas or New Year Not one formal Thank you or a Drink or any single token of appreciation. It would be nice for OS to appreciate the contractor and show some respect. I would be hard press to recommend OS.

    Advice to Management

Be Employee Contractor Centrix. Appreciate PPl that work for you and show respect. 1 or 2 dollars will not kill your bottom line but will create a great good will towards OS.

I have been working at Oxford Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They got me a job when and where I needed.
I don't have very much contact with O.S., only once or twice a year.
They have been responsive when I needed.

    Cons

I understand being a contractor has drawbacks. The only issue I have is, there is no paid time off. Other agencies seem to provide PTO, nt sure why O.S. does not.

    Advice to Management

Come up with a solution for your long term contractors. You guys can figure out a way to give PTO.
