I have been working at Ozonia North America full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Like any company there are pros and cons. Its a good group of people and plenty of opportunity to learn new skills and technologies. The pay is OK but pretty good benefits for a company of this size. Fairly practical company that tends to get the job done at the end of the day.

    Cons

Location is not great for commuting

I worked at Ozonia North America full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

They pretty much let everyone go in production and plan on shutting the doors. I really can't come up with one good thing other than I did make a few lifelong friends.

    Cons

Didn't know day to day if I would even have a job. The so called management people who worked in the office pretended to be your friends but would throw you under the bus in a second to save their own hides. I am not an Engineer but the department was so bad that I had to point out the shortfalls and I only have a high school education. Every project was a distaster; no parts, not enough manpower, crazy deadlines that never could be met, an engineering and electrical department that were so awful every drawing had to be redone. The whole company is a disaster from the top down. Laid off because of lack of sales and product interest. Ozonia was a strong American company and used to be the leader in the industry, now it is just a shell of itself thanks to the French.

I worked at Ozonia North America full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

There used to be many pros, now I can't find one reason to ride this company out in hope that things will go back to the way they were. Maybe the fact that they can still make payroll, which won't be for long is the only pro I can think of. The French have ruined this company and turned everyone against each other.

    Cons

Cons? Ha, there are way too many too list. All I can say is this is the most poorly run company I've ever seen. I find it sad to see what it has become after spending so many years here. Nothing but power struggles, bickering, and fighting making it one of the worst places to have to sit and waste 10 hours of my day. There were days I believed I was in a prison serving time for a crime I didn't commit. I should have left 3 years ago when the ship started sinking, now the only thing left is the bow sticking out of the water with a few survivors hanging on for dear life, one life vest, and no life boats. I wish I could give Ozonia no stars, it isn't even worthy of negative 2 stars in my book! The good times at Ozonia are so long ago that they have become mere folklore to those still caged in this corporate prison. Goodbye and I didn't let the door hit me in the you know what. I am so much happier at my new job. I never thought I could actually enjoy my work again after leaving Ozonia.

    Pros

They make payroll on time, give pay raises and bonuses.

    Cons

Where do I start! Poor management, totally disorganized, management has no say so unless you are a butt kisser. Engineering is a joke!

    Pros

Granted there are some good people but you really can't trust anyone. Benefits and retirement plan are good but the pay is so low it is hard to invest in your portfolio.

    Cons

Dido to the other reviews. Upper management are catty as a bunch of old bitties and create an atmosphere that is counter productive other than to do things to "CYOA." The company is full of cliches reminiscent of high school. They hire who ever they can get the cheapest and it shows in the results. Promotions are rare pretty much non-existent and the only way you can get promoted is by default, i/o when someone quits or gets fired and they need a warm body to fill the void but don't expect any sort of raise for the extra hours and work. The best advice I could give anyone is to never work here unless you enjoy torturing yourself.

I worked at Ozonia North America full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Few employees instill true talent and skills. They have semi summer hours that are satisfactory to real 9 /80 work weeks. Nothing follows.

    Cons

Processing and managing any project is flawed and Comprised of ineffective guidance, self centered obtuse mindset from all management. No clear emphasis on training, class reimbursement, Cross training with new or older SW. Upper management segregates from lower staff By means of communication breakdown. Clients are constantly disappointed At the lackluster support . Many are just present for a cheap paycheck with no inner desire to succeed due to senior staff that lost ambition long ago. High turnover rate is the final process there.

"A Company With Absolutely No Identity"

I worked at Ozonia North America full-time

    Pros

Well, let's see, you get to learn a lot because everything has to be done ten times to get it right. Summer hours are nice but upper management makes to where you feel you are constantly under the microscope so it ruins all the fun. If you are just breaking into the field it's nice to learn then get out and move onto greener pastures. Pay is extremely low for what you would expect from a professional engineering company based in the NYC metro area but the benefits and 401K are decent.

    Cons

Where do I start. Very poor upper management who plays favorites and wouldn't even have a clue as to how to effectively manage and/or lead a group school kids across the street without stepping on their own toes . There are two sets of rules, one for the teacher's pets and for the commoners who do all the work. The morale is rock bottom, the place festers between a fine line of condescending negativity and down right rudeness. The entire place is run like a three ring circus and the customer ends up suffering in the end because of all corporate bureaucracy. The engineering department is backwards and can never seem to get it right. The company worries more about adhering to wasteful corporate policies than putting the employees and customers first. Human resources are a joke and god forbid if you report something negative, they find a way to justify the actions of the person with whom the complaint was filed against. Bullying is not frowned upon but encouraged (One of the main reasons the revolving door of employees keeps spinning round and round). The place has potential but needs to be gutted from the top down to even be a tolerable and/or decent place to work.
