    I have been working at P.F. Chang's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I would say that this is a good place to work. It has a good staff, and it functions well in most ways.

    Cons

No automatic gratuity is added to checks of large parties, this can make it difficult when a 20 top comes in and doesn't tip well.

    Advice to Management

Speak to corporate about possibly adding automatic gratuity to bills of large parties again, this makes working better and easier for everyone at the workplace.

    Pros

Good tips, young staff, Have fun with your fellow employees and management.

    Cons

Don't get to build much of a relationship with the back of the house. Can be stressful at times.

    Advice to Management

Assign managers to different sections of the restaurant for the night, instead of all of them being all over the place. (from cooking, to on the floor, etc.

    I worked at P.F. Chang's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Discounted Chinese food
As a host, the starting is around $9
Opportunities to move up in other parts of the restaurant

    Cons

Not all the food is discounted
We got a lot of snobby folks, and yes you have to smile through it
If you don't go three extra miles, you might not get noticed for your work

    Advice to Management

Personally, at the location I was at, I'd have to say is give the high school kids you hire a break. They may listen well because they've never had a job, but they still need school. One of my managers constantly told the hosts to follow rotation no matter what (mainly from whiny servers), which was easy with a slow day/night. Although, when we'd go on a wait or people would ask for a server and we'd have to skip someone, he'd jump down our throats. My advice to everyone would be to understand each and everyone else's jobs and try not to be to hard.
