    Pros

    Cons

There should be no partiality/likes or dislikes when it comes to career progression as this is the biggest downfall ever for any employee to loose interest

    I worked at P&O Cruises full-time

    Pros

Situated next to West Quay in Southampton

    Cons

    Management weren't approachable
Management weren't available to speak to
People didn't seem to enjoy there job
No training available for those with no prior knowledge of the cruise industry
Outdated computer systems such as Windows XP
    Negative working environment
    Low pay/long hours
Expect to take your work home
WIFI only supplied for work purposes (even when you're on lunch)

    Advice to Management

Don't advertise for a graduate position and fail to include any training
Don't advertise for a position over the holidays unless there will be people available when you have a query. Management being available at the end of an email in a different time zone is unacceptable and will hinder the workflow.
Improve aproachfullness of those in senior management
Improve training for those with no prior knowledge of the cruise industry. Computer quizes only caters to those who learn that way.
Do not expect a new starter to suceed when there is no one available to advise them and those that are, are too stressed/overloaded with work to provide assistance
