    Pros

my colleagues, the intellectual capital and the leadership; the ability to be innovative, creative, and create work that is meaningful and of true value to clients; our work is embedded in key company values which we value individually and collectively. Working at PA is what you make of it. There is intense opportunity if you are willing to seek it out and put in the hard work. Opportunities to lead and develop oneself are endless but don't look for someone to hold your hand - you have to be willing to figure out what you are good at, what your areas of development are and continue to develop both.

    Cons

Travel is often required to the client which is standard for consulting.

    Advice to Management

none - they do a great job

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Allows one to build consulting soft skills. It's an environment where one has to be proactive. In addition, as long as one is clear where he or she wants to be in a couple years, one will perform well in PA.

Further, managers are helpful especially when you need help from them. They emphasize networking internally which is a good thing to do anyway. Networking and performance will eventually let you select the engagements that you like.

    Cons

PA operates in a way that utilization is top priority. A good deal of one's assessment is dependent on how 'utilized' is one throughout the year. This means you get on the first job that comes your way.

If you lack structure in the things you do, PA is not the place to be. On the hindsight PA promotes pro-activeness and that will allow you progress upwards.

    Advice to Management

Reduce pinching pennies when it comes to administration items.
