Pros
This company has ZERO pros
Cons
This was by far the worst career move I've ever made in my life. Within 2 weeks of accepting the position I knew I was in big trouble and had to get out of this company. The working conditions at all of the PCC Structurals locations are horrendous. The facilities are filthy, out-dated mid-60's era death traps that will leave you wondering how they could actually manage to produce a product that is safe and reliable. The IT systems are a joke and will remind one of computer systems from 1982. The work hours (whether you're salaried or hourly) are completely ridiculous and you can check the concept of 'life work balance' at the door. Internally, the company has a few smart people but they are completely squashed by division leaders and general managers that are nothing short of incompetent fools. The Division President is a direct descendant of Henry VIII complete with his insane ego and iron fist rule of management. He thinks he can listen, but alas no such luck. Nearly all general managers are on a constant 'shuffle the deck' cycle and last at a location for about 6-12 months if you/they are lucky. Whether you're a hourly laborer or a senior technical manager, this place will turn you into a zombie. Run as fast as you can from this place.

Miserable Place To Work

Never boring. Compensation good with Quarterly bonus.
Cons
No respect for people. No work life balance. No resources to accomplish critical tasks. IT systems from the 1990's. Senior Management style is direct from the 1930's.

Pros
Benefits are good and people that make parts are great
Cons
Everything else. The work life balance is not considered at PCC. It is a grind house.

Pros
Ok salary, some good employees.
Cons
They will tell you anything you want to hear to get you in the door. You'll be lucky to be put into the position you're hired for. Kiss work life balance goodbye. If you have a family don't mention wanting to spend time with them, it's a joke to management and you'll be laughed out of the room. Take a day off you'll be blacklisted. Want a promotion? You don't need to do a good job you'll just need to live at work. It's a revolving door and supervisors average less than a year. Upper management makes employees work weekend overtime worth zero notice and males you, the supervisor the bad guy. Meet your goals for the week or quarter then rest assured they will immediately change the goal. Once my team exceeded the goal and they made me report to them that they missed it so they would still have to work the weekend.

Pros
Not many pros of working here - they pay decently, but that it about it.
Cons
There is no work life balance - management does not care at all about your family or you spending any time with them. Prepare to be set up for failure with unreachable targets, and then to be yelled at all day long about how you aren't hitting your targets. They are wildly understaffed and rather than hire additional people to fill the vacancies, they just have everyone perform multiple job functions. There are no resources for new employees trying to figure things out, you are thrown straight into your roll within your first week and then the yelling begins. They will not allow for any downtime on equipment to perform maintenance, but when it breaks down due to lack of maintenance, you guessed it - more yelling! They are also constantly firing people. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.
