    Pros

    Grat teams and great colleague.

    Cons

It't difficult to advance and Management makes short term decisions instead of looking at the bigger picture.

I worked at PFSweb full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good first job for recent college graduates.

    Cons

    -Low pay
-Work cliques, as they mostly hire out of one college
    -High employee turnover
    -Poorly structured training...IF any
-Q4 is the busiest & most stressfull
    -No work-life balance
    -Benefits are not great

    Advice to Management

-Know how to create an environment in which people experience positive morale and employees are motivated to work hard for the success of the business.
-Help people grow and develop their skills and capabilities through formal education and structured, on-the-job learning. Make employee career and personal development a priority in the workplace. Employees need to feel as if their manager cares about their careers and progress.
-Build effective and responsive interpersonal relationships. Reporting staff members will respect your ability to demonstrate collaboration, respect, trust, and attentiveness. Good managers will create environments that foster community and inclusiveness.
    -Walk the talk.

    Pros

Great company culture, high expectations of employees, flexible, yet demanding management. Great place to learn and grow in the eCommerce industry.

    Cons

Have yet to find any overbearing cons.

I have been working at PFSweb full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with--hard working, dedicated, respectful, entrepreneurial. Great benefits including health activities and sports teams, workouts onsite, occasional Taco Tuesdays, ice cream, and other treats make it fun. Competitive pay, good healthcare. Good long-term employment.

    Cons

Some stressful times in some departments. Fourth quarter is high-stress, especially Black Friday and Cyber Monday because of the retail online holiday sales. But everyone pitches in together, making it exciting and rewarding.

    I worked at PFSweb full-time

    Pros

Growth potential, great HQ and Dallas facilities, downtown location is right off DART station

    Cons

Office politics, favoritism, some wrong people in management, Q4 insanity, outside hires get paid dramatically more than internal growth, annual layoffs.

    Advice to Management

Take time as a great leader or manager to speak with (or work with) individuals who may be struggling or have great potential. Sometimes the person with the responsibility to do that job for you isn't the right person. Unfortunately, everyone's morale below them in the food chain suffers as a result. Hard workers should be noticed by their quality of their work, not how vocal or overly social they are with decision makers. There are people working there that have received promotions (that do absolutely nothing all day) but have friends in all the right places (or can speak articulately in formal meetings) and that's all that really matters for secure employment. Meanwhile - the people that bust their tails, do their job efficiently, and are loved by clients/co-workers continually get let go because they weren't best friends with immediate leadership. Have the right people in place to identify this cancer and internal morale/overall feedback of the organization will dramatically improve.

I worked at PFSweb full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Highly recognizable client brands, exciting technology partners in some areas, good pay, nice facility

    Cons

The company grew too quickly via acquisitions and leadership has lost control of the ship. Departments fight over revenue credit, while simultaneously fighting to avoid accountability for deliverables. Core technologies are antiquated and expensive to maintain. Attempts to diversify business have simply led to diminished focus. Culture has changed from emphasis on client service to emphasis on pushing short term revenue.

    Advice to Management

The acquisitions and expansions have failed, both organizationally and financially. It's time to do the hard work and start cutting back until the business can find focus again.

    Pros

A great place to learn about the nature of providing an end-to-end e-commerce solution for large companies.

    Cons

Their completely siloed approach and adamant refusal to adopt processes and standards makes the production of quality work and the deliverable of projects a miraculous outcome.

    Advice to Management

If the rampant exodus of your staff across your organization isn't a clue that you've got to address your needs for structure, new management, and processes then there's nothing I can write that will help you.

    Pros

    Dress Code
    Modern work environment
    Opportunity
    Culture
    Mission people can believe in
    Talented people and leadership

    Cons

    Going through M&A pains.
Some old guard that cannot get on board with new ways of thinking.

    Advice to Management

Most management is great. The ones that need advice don't understand where they fit in the company. A bit of an old vs new guard battle happening. New guard is winning and doing the right things though. If you feel like you are at the margins here, I would advise you look at your job and get to work improving things and learning the mission.
