I worked at PKF Consulting full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very knowledgable senior management with many years experience. The best in the industry. The quality of the reports is very high with exhaustive coverage of the content discussed.

    Cons

Inconsistent work flow lead to many hours scrounging for work to do. Also, difficult to come up with side projects to add value during downtime. Performance reviews tend to be based on old ways of doing things and not on merits of individual's contributions.

    Advice to Management

Recognize efforts of younger people to bring in new ideas or improvements to existing tools and methods. There is a tendency to keep things as they were rather than allow new talent to bring in new ideas or do things slightly differently.
