I worked at PL Marketing Inc. part-time

    Pros

Week days 1st shift type hours
    Kroger discount

    Cons

Lots of changes in management, ended up with one who had ridiculous deadlines for getting things done always complaining about my speed which my boss previously had complimented me on, and towards the end started cutting my hours while everyone else was getting 3-4 days minimum. I really used to like it here till that POS took over.

Also they payed slave wages (typical american workplace)
Complained whenever you took a break and will try to make you stay by saying oh you already took one when you didn't.
Complain that you don't work past 8 hours

    Advice to Management

Burn the place to the ground

I worked at PL Marketing Inc. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice co-workers , no weekends and you finish at 2:30 98% of time. Almost never work over 40 hours...except they don't count or pay for first 30 minutes and 30 miles driving. So counting you driving =45 hrs week.

    Cons

Start time is 4AM, so you may have to leavehome at 3AM if you live that far from the store you are in that day . They service over 100 stores in 3 states and you can be in hotels for 6-7 weeks at a time. Hard physical work most days.

    Advice to Management

Move start time at least to 5 AM especially if one has to drive over 30 minutes. Have proper planograms, strips tags and other equipment in each store on time. Split up travel so it's not all in a row...sometimes 8-9 weeks in a row gone from family all week, then no travel for months. Pro rate salaries over 12 months and close ops during Xmas week, maybe day before Thnxgiving, Look for ways to reward and provide incentives for good workers. Tragic that 65% of Louisville team quit in last year because of above. But nobody cares because they are replaced with cheaper labor.
