    Great company. Leadership understands it's important to take care of its employees.

    Cons

    Limited number of properties in Hawaii.

    I worked at PM Realty (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    There are some really good people working at PMRG in So Cal. They are knowledgeable and friendly.

    Cons

    Too much of a good 'ol boys club and only the insiders and but kissers get promoted. Upper management is weak when it comes to dealing with some of their bigger clients and it costs PMRG a lot of money because of it and loss of valuable employees.

    Advice to Management

    Don't blame your short comings on your management team when you won't stand up for PMRG's rights with the clients.

    I worked at PM Realty (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good work/life balance. IT department and office staff really cares about the employees. Free drinks and sometimes free food. Insightful people in certain departments. Most of the management is very humble and treats the staff with respect. You can learn a lot in a short while. Holiday parties are fun.

    Cons

    Unusually high turnover. Big clients prioritized. Salaries are too low for support staff and entry level. Career development is whatever management wants you to be. Best to move up or move on.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in more training and/or educational benefits for employees. Make sure communications between offices stay strong.

    Pros

    Coworkers were very nice and always tried to help out.

    Cons

    Management was terrible. Everything was very political and you had to do a lot of sucking up. Management tended to be very disrespectful to employees and a lot of shady business.

    Advice to Management

    Look closely at management in Honolulu area. Poor business practices.

    Pros

    Lots of office parties. People who are liked by upper management are promoted and paid well.

    Cons

    Not much flexibility in the work schedule. No bonus structure for corporate employees, long hours, pay is on the low end and increases are infrequent and small.

    Advice to Management

    Pay all your employees fairly. Upgrade computer systems. Give people the tools, flexibility and support to succeed at their jobs.

    Pros

    Can't really think of anything positive.

    Cons

    Minimal training provided. No interaction or follow through with corporate. Benefits are not great. No idea what the corporate values as the information was not shared. Difficult to get answers or direction from corporate.

    Advice to Management

    To retain quality people management must provide better training and at least pretend they have an interest in client needs.

    Move out the Supervisors/Yes Men types and install real leaders that will push and inspire the group as a whole. people who really want to bring the company out of the dark ages of technology and onto the cutting edge.
