    Pros

able to provide limited banking service to Filipino-American public overseas

    Cons

deteriorating service quality and decline in prominence/importance in Philippine banking industry due to character of present ownership and frequent changes in senior management who are lacking in sincerity, loyalty and long-term vision for the bank; very top-heavy organization (ex.: an FSVP among OP staff); majority of senior and middle managers are arrogant and barely competent; demoralized and apathetic R&F

    Pros

Though pay is not at par with regards to IT, the environment gives you the opportunity to build your character.

    Cons

As in any other companies, politics, rumors or hear-says and factions are very much alive here. I guess no companies are exempted from such.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people who follow your lead (rank-and-file, junior officers, middle management). They also provide invaluable insights on how to make the company a much better place to work for.

I worked at PNB (More than 3 years)

    Pros

HMO benefits that will include 2 of your dependents, Holiday pay for every regular holiday, yearly increase care of the employees union.

    Cons

Long hours with no overtime pay unless approved by management, Does not invest in technology to improve working conditions, Management is apathetic to its employees, when employees get trained to be promoted they are slapped with ridiculous cash bonds that they have to pay in case they want to leave.

    Advice to Management

Be more mindfulof your employees, try to promote employees from the branches to take jobs at the head office instead of getting "Jedi's" that are too young and inexperienced. Those kids lack the heart of being a banker because they did not go through the life of being in the branch themselves. The branches are the heart of your operations, so why treat them like you do not care? You just impose your will not thinking about the impact of your decisions. The branches are suffering because of poorly made decisions and lack of coordination from the people at the head office.
