I have been working at PNC Financial Services Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you want a job doing a specific thing, there are always opportunities for advancement. Reviews are held frequently in regards to progress and career development.

    Cons

One of the lowest paying banks. They take a very long time for the hiring process, leaving branches often short staffed. Medical benefits are not great.

    Advice to Management

I know every person wants more money, but please PNC pay us competitively to other banks. Also get rid of high deductible health care. Such a waste of money.

Growth if you have flexible schedule. OK compensation package. Great with allowing employees to take leadership roles

Part time students hard for growth. Could work better on communication.

    Advice to Management

Listen to full time / part time employment to decrease turnover rate.

I have been working at PNC Financial Services Group part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Pension, 401K, benefits, tuition reimbursement,

    Cons

HR is terrible, went on a leave of absence and they couldn't figure out the date that I had to return to work. I was a full time employee and went to part time and had to re-apply for my current job and had to be interviewed, HR required this.

    Advice to Management

If PNC pays for tuition and you graduate you should be able to move up into a position for the degree that you got, what you currently make shouldn't be a factor as to whether or not you can get the new position.
