I worked at PNC Real Estate full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Get to work remote if over 50 miles from office. 3 week vacation time.

    Cons

THEE worst management! Stay away at least from the Jacksonville, Florida location. The worst management there. They don't care about their employees. Very tense environment. Your micro-managed, they're dishonest, condescending, don't know what they're doing and don't support their underwriters. They allow sales and processing along with the managers to verbally abuse you. Oh and the pay is fairly low. Go somewhere else and don't bother with this company that has no good culture.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to get over yourselves and go to management school (find a good mentor) to learn how to become effective, positive leaders. - not abusive, condescending micro-managers. Your the worst in this biz hands down!!

I worked at PNC Real Estate full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Excellent employee atmosphere and benefits.

    Cons

Location from my home. The lack of promotion within. During the time I spent with National City/PNC Bank , I was more than qualified to move up to an underwriting position. My reviews were excellent but I was never able to move out of my department.

    Advice to Management

More integrated departmental employee meetings to help promote teamwork. Allow qualified employees to move on to new positions instead of leaving the company all together.

I worked at PNC Real Estate full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexibility, management recognized employees skills and gave them appropriate level of responsibility. Large company affords some stability. Nice offices and good benefits.

    Cons

Pay is low relative to industry. Technology, technology, technology. Management doesn't give you the opportunity to be involved in industry associations/networking, no ongoing training.

    Advice to Management

Make pay more competitive with industry. If that comes into line, everything else is tolerable.
