I have been working at PNP Staffing Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Maybe I’m “drinking the Kool Aid” but I love working for PNP! I really enjoy working with non-profits and it makes me so happy to be able to help them find the people they hire! My colleagues are amazing: friendly and honest and totally helpful. Gayle and the senior team have been completely supportive to me – honestly I was very green when I started and they totally took a chance on me. The benefits get better every year, the management team always gives us extra time off around holidays, and I get tons of positive feedback. I love it!

    Cons

I would be so happy to work from home a day or two a week. I have a lot of responsibilities at home and it would really help.

    Advice to Management

Keep going in the direction you’re going in. And thank you for the cupcake birthday party!

I have been working at PNP Staffing Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

People you meet at work are good. OK money for a while.

    Cons

    CEO is reactive not proactive.
    Turnover is absurdly high.
Keeps the employees who are bad and deliver nothing to the company's bottom line, runs off anyone who is good.
Has several people on payroll who serve no purpose in the company.
CEO gets in the way of every decision. Constantly asks questions or seeks advice from the managers, and then does the exact opposite of what management says.
CEO really doesn't know how to run a business. Business could be so much better than what it is, but it will never get there with her in charge.

    Advice to Management

CEO needs to sell. Plain and simple. Or step aside and be an owner with limited say in day to day of company.

I worked at PNP Staffing Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I go to use all of my people skills - I met hundreds of candidates and helped match them with great non-profits. It was immensely satisfying! I learned so much from Gayle - a strong, smart CEO - about the industry and the sector. I wouldn't trade my time at PNP for anything.

    Cons

The pace is very fast and you need to get up to speed quickly on the non-profit world and the job market.

    Advice to Management

I would have loved flexible work hours. For instance, work from home 1-2 days a week.

"CEO is reactive and out of touch with reality"

    Pros

I had autonomy. The office was downtown and convenient to my home. The manager, Brandi, was very smart and reasonably supportive.

    Cons

I had read on this site before taking the job in sales about Gayle Brandel and was fearful that she would fire me because others said she reacts when getting concerned about numbers. They hired me knowing I had no experience with staffing firms but promised to give me time and mentorship to get up to speed and build relationships. During my brief three months there I developed many excellent relationships that I was sure would yield fruit shortly. I also brought in a good amount of jobs for the time I was there. Yet without warning, I was let go with pretty much no explanation. Also I was not given any allowance for being alone in an office with very little mentoring.

    Advice to Management

More communications with Gayle so she can understand better the reality of time required to build good solid relationships with employers and to get jobs from them.
