I have been working at PNY Technologies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This division is new, there is a lot of passion and ideas which make it a fun place to be. There is a lot of flexibility given to employees to be creative and intuitive.

    Cons

One thing that happens when a lot of flexibility is given is there are people who take advantage of it. There also is a lot more disorganization than bigger more established companies which some people may not enjoy.

    Advice to Management

If there was clear direction instead of focus on staffing up, perhaps some of the disarray and miscommunication would subside.

    Pros

Nice people, pleasant atmosphere, good place to start a career or get experience in a particular department.

    Cons

Low pay, not much room for growth, a lot of micro-management going on. There can be lack of transparency between management and employees, and not much sense of employee empowerment.

    Advice to Management

Make employees feel empowered, and important.

I worked at PNY Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I started out early in my career when PNY was about a $500M company. For the most part the company is well run by the CEO and is still privately held. You can get a great corporate exp here if you are entry level.

    Cons

Minimal room for advancement. No real career structure defined for advancement. This may have change in my 10 years since working there.
