    Positive Outlook

I have been working at PPG as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've been told they have great benefits. My supervisors have all been relaxed and understanding. The atmosphere is on the relaxed side, but still serious, and the hours are generally flexible.

    Cons

The HR department is subpar. My emails take longer than they should to be answered, if they're even answered at all. Things that the HR department needs to take care of so that safety training can be completed are done belatedly or not at all.

    Advice to Management

Ensure that new hires are able to get their training completed by using your pull to get things in place so that new hires can get things done.

I have been working at PPG as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is a lot of work to do and they are a growing and expanding company. The team I work with is very friendly and willing to teach and coach.

    Cons

As a contractor I was not really given a lot of respect (which can be expected). They are very demanding of their employees (which could also be expected) of such a big corporation.

    Advice to Management

Value the employees who work hard.
