    Pros

    A Job\paycheck, enjoyed my colleagues

    Cons

Management is lacking big time. There is no Team building, no training to move up or support to do so. Do your job and shut up attitude. Dont rock the boat and you can go far.

    Advice to Management

Implement a John Maxwell type management style. Your only looking out for upper management.

    You tend to stay busy.

    Cons

My position really doesn't allow me to work at home.
Some of the attitudes are questionable.
YOU WILL BE UNDERPAID. *BEWARE* I have an technical degree and I am paid in the 40's.

    Advice to Management

More so advice to the company. Pay more. You have people who possess certain skills so pay their worth.

    Pros

Good pay, met some really great people at PRA. Four weeks of vacation time, good benefits.

    Cons

Turning into Quintiles - rotating door organization. Gets more new people than can absorb or properly trained. Constantly changing for the worse computer programs.
Result - the quality of trials conducted is low. I expected higher quality based on all the hype company puts on quality. All evaporates once you look at newish trials how badly managed they are. PRA doesn't promote the ownership of a trial by CRA, the revolting door attitude will bring this company down.

I have been working at PRA Health Sciences (More than a year)

    Pros

    Nice office space, decent benefits

    Cons

executives run around in circles requesting repetitious work assignments; compensation challenges- not competitive with other CRO's- focus is to beat Docs & Covance but don't focus on internal problems to do so and then blame clients for shortcomings

    Advice to Management

Need to be more strategic in competing with other CROS

    Pros

Nice new building and work environment

    Cons

If you like favoritism, competition and nepotism, you'll love this company.

    Advice to Management

Be more aware of the office politics and don't add to it. Create positions according to an individual's talents. Diplomacy would be helpful.

I have been working at PRA Health Sciences full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There are some really talented people who work here. On Fridays you can wear jeans and eat free breakfast.

    Cons

Questionable business ethics, poor leadership, lack of direction or identity. No one can give you straight answer, there is rampant favoritism and management has no idea how to develop staff.
Benefits and salary are market standard at best. Medical plans are not as good as they used to be. No bonuses for anyone below management. PTO plan is 4 weeks (vacation and sick combined), but it's difficult to get approval for the time off and it does not roll over for new employees. No work from home options and no career growth opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Clear out the top three or four layers of management and give top talent a reason to work here.
