I worked at PRGX Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I can't think of any reason to want to work here but it's something to do until you can find what you want if you can tolerate being there that long. Other than that... None.

    Cons

Nevermind that it's unethical... That preceding posts were done by someone internally with an interest and the hope of abating the consistent posts that speak honestly to the nature of this company. The corporate office is the best that you'll see of this company (which is pathetic at best) as the other locations are run like sweatshops... Which is a culture dictated from its corporate headquarters and leaders.

Surely if one is not amongst the workers down in the trenches doing the work like workhorses while barely able to meet their day to day expenses due to the menial wages; they have no complaints nor interest in the well-being, and morale of the 'other' employee population. Reality for the larger population of the employees working for this company is that it's a hell-hole.

To this end, turnover is happening at a rapid pace at every level. Sr. Level, mid-level, and entry, which speaks to some serious internal issues ranging from mis-treatment, disrespect, and abuse of human resources (no work life balance), to the poor performance/financial results of the company.

The average employee is underpaid according to market data in majority of the cases while, the 'favored', hand picked associates are paid substantial salaries, e.g., two people averaging a million dollars in salary and that doesn't include other incentives.

Meanwhile, individual contributors are working themselves into the ground, treated like they are expendable and of no value.

PRGX is a terrible place to work.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating people like they're expendable.

I worked at PRGX Global full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible work hours
    Health care was ok

    Cons

    Pay & Bonus
High stress for not much reward

    Advice to Management

Stop being so cheap. If you can't afford to pay your employees more, then at least reward them with time off or half days. End of month or season you could cater some food in to keep employees at their desk. Rotate your projects so every employee gets exposure-not just new hires. Don't paint people into corners. Stop having so many meetings about what needs to be done. It's a waste of time!

work can become very boring and repetitive. Its a good job, just not really my thing. Not enough "action". Also, bonus is always late, by a few months.

    Pros

The people here are good to work with, the pay is decent, and for the most part, I enjoy my work.

    Cons

The work can sometimes get tedious, and sometimes I feel under appreciated in my position. I do wish we had a little more control over some of the things that happen with the company, especially when they affect our jobs personally.

I worked at PRGX Global full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

casual business attire, reasonable vacation time off, good benefits

    Cons

While the dress code was casual and the management was fairly low-keyed, the workload was unrealistically overwhelming. I experienced all of the stress of a job where you are compensated on commission only, with none of the reward. There was not a great deal of opportunity for upward mobility in terms of responsibility or income. I can say that any request I made for time off for vacations or even impromptu requests were approved quickly without any problem. Overall, the work environment was comfortable, as far as the people are concerned. My only real complaints are the unrealistic workload and the below-market compensation as compared to incomes paid to recovery auditors at similar companies.
