Pros
I did learn a lot of new procedures for working in Accounting, specifically A/R, A/P, and invoicing.
Cons
I worked for Print NW for several months, worked doing tasks that were not even my responsibility but did so to be a team player and hoped to work into a promotion. I was rewarded for my overtime, working weekends, and taking on extra responsibilities by being told I was no longer needed because the department was being restructured and my position was being eliminated. Funny thing is I found out a few weeks later not only was my job not eliminated, but was given to a friend of one of the bosses. Nice to know that my boss who just 2 weeks before had given me a wonderful review, was pushed aside because someone higher up wanted to put a single mom out of work to hire a teenage girl to do a job that I was told was being eliminated.
