I have been working at PRO Sports Club part-time

    Pros

Great culture and environment, company likes to promote from within. Fairly well paid, great customer service

    Cons

At my job there was no where to go promotion wise. Needing to be clean shaven, and wear a uniform

    Advice to Management

Think about increasing positions. Keep expanding and retain employees.

I have been working at PRO Sports Club full-time

    Pros

I love the people that I work with and the opportunities I get to participate in. Working at PRO Sports Club has so many perks from free membership to awesome discounts on apparel and services.

    Cons

The uniforms. They are unattractive, uncomfortable and the rules about wearing them are very strict. Benefits could be a little better.

I worked at PRO Sports Club full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fantastic facility (Bellevue location). Working as an overnight facility operations specialist - I was tasked with keeping this location clean and organized. Staff was all extraordinarily friendly and fun to work with! Upper-management communicated with us clearly on everything! There was a great, positive work-culture and my boss was absolutely a blast to work for. Great benefits, great pay.

    Cons

None that I can think of. The monthly mandatory meetings were always held in the middle of the day and, working overnight, meant that I would typically be in situations were I only got a few hours of sleep.

    Advice to Management

Think of your overnight staff during the mandatory meetings. We have very physically demanding jobs which necessitate a full night's rest.

    Pros

Free gym membership, good benefits, great pay, and discounts throughout the club. My co-workers are a huge part of why I've stayed as long as I have (plus the pay is pretty good for my workload although I may be an exception). The clientele is steady and the gym will only continue to grow. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a part-time employer.

    Cons

Over-time is generally not allowed even though many departments seem understaffed. Management is pretty disorganized and the upper management cares way to much about revenue than it's employee's at times. They are extremely nitpicky on some very weird rules that create the "PROBEST" culture of ProClub. Everything is set up to mimic Disneylands culture of world class customer service and creating an experience which is kind of weird in my opinion.

    Advice to Management

Think about long-term solutions instead of just keeping everything afloat on a day-to-day basid.

I have been working at PRO Sports Club (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Wealth of information to be learned. There are some fantastic trainers that are more than willing to guide you into becoming a better trainer.

    Cons

Very nit-picky about outdated and irrelevant rules and regulations in the club. Management is under developed and does not advocate for the training team.

    Pros

Always innovating and trying new things. Has a high level of customer service focus. Clean environment. Excellent facilities. Love that I can work out during my breaks

    Cons

Expensive membership. Club membership is mostly Microsoft employees and their families. Some people from Ninento as well. For employees, there's been periods of high turnover due to pay.

    Advice to Management

Continue to innovate and expand services. This is a fun environment to work in - the employee parties are fun. Continue to run the company as a professional organization. I love that management is approachable.
