Growing, privately held brokerage with great leadership and the means to succeed. Provide employees with tools and education to further careers and grow.

Technology and marketing tools are a bit behind, but that is it.

    Advice to Management

None, company is growing and attracting new business. Lovely people running the show.

I worked at PSA Financial as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Plain and simple, I loved working here. Chip, the current owner/president is an awesome guy and goes out of his way to welcome everyone. I worked under Sally Boston and she was always helpful, cheerful, and always willing to help. The facilities are amazing and the location is great as well. This company is really going places and I have no doubt will be in the top 50 for financial services in the nation soon enough.

    Cons

I couldn't find a con during my time working there

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing, it's going to pay off in the end.

    Pros

Highly knowlegable staff with many having advanced degrees and/or professional designations in their respected fields. No proprietary products so producers have the ability to truely offer the product that best fits their clients needs.

    Cons

Mainly a conglomerate of independents that are hesitant and/or unwilling to work as a team.

    Advice to Management

Continue team building throughout the company and define roles and procedures.

I worked at PSA Financial full-time

    Pros

It's a growing company, so there's a lot of opportunity if you seek it out. Also there is 20 days of PTO, free and unlimited coffee, and fun company culture.

    Cons

Lots of micromanaging. Constantly feel like you're being watched and scrutinized by management and other employees, making it hard to excel at the job.

    Advice to Management

Try to find a better way to communicate with your employees. Micromanaging doesn't lead to better work, it just leads to disgruntled employees trash talking management.
