I have been working at PSA Healthcare part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, PSA pays good in georgia but not in Georgia, office staff are nice, can request holidays or time off if you like

    Cons

hard to get enough shifts sometimes; PSA pay is low in florida but better in georgia; can loose case anytime; sometimes have long drives to cases

    Advice to Management

don't really think much can be changed; overall is good company to work for in both Fl and GA; pay was much lower in FL for some reason

I worked at PSA Healthcare part-time

    Pros

Vey flexible & understanding staff; very kind and supportive management

    Cons

Poor pay :( they promised me I would get time and a half on Christmas Eve, but then went back on their word and said, oh... sorry, you only get paid extra for working on Christmas Day! I was so angry, because I rearranged my whole Christmas Eve plans with my family based on what was promised to me. So pretty much my Xmas eve was ruined

    Advice to Management

Stop being so CHEAP!!! You want to retain your nurses? Show them how important they are toy our company by talents giving us fair wages as well as mandatory raises after working with your company for so long. Reimburse your nurses for their WHOLE shift, even if they get sent home early by their clients. That would show how much you appreciate your nurses. I know when I was a home health aide, that's how we were treated. And guess what? I stayed with that company for a few years up until I started nursing school!!!!

I have been working at PSA Healthcare full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

One on one pt care, choose your own schedule. Working with pediatric medically fragile children is a rewarding job to keep them in their home.

    Cons

No sick days pay, no pto, use your own vehicle, gas and wear and tear. Lower hourly pay for mandatory meetings and in services.

    Advice to Management

Advanced management are not clinical. Need to fully learn what make a great home health company, not just filling schedules.
