    Pros

Flexible hours, work from home, and you meet a lot of interesting people in the beer business. Plus. your get paid to sell beer! Growing brand portfolio and could be a great job if you have the right direct supervisor.

    Cons

Too many variables out of your control to hit yearly bonus. Too much travel and basically live out of your car, and not many opportunities for advancement unless your willing to relocate. HR is difficult to get answers in a timely manner and training is pretty much non-existent.

    Advice to Management

    More localized incentive structure.

    Pros

Fast growing organization, numerous opportunities, acquiring talented individuals from top to bottom, strong culture & the best organization in the beer industry. I have been here 9 years & it always has been good, but it is now awesome. We now have an owner creating a strong culture, long term investments in brands/innovation, attracting talented people & promoting a work life balance. 2016 will be the first year since 2008 that the entire sales staff will go through sales training. PBC is investing in their people. Most people will spend a life time searching for what we have right now at the PBC. This is a great place to be & highly encourage anyone that has an opportunity to be a part of this to come join the ride. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

    Cons

With a fast growing organization always comes a few challenges. Based on PBC almost doubling in size the last 18 months, it has been tough to keep up on onboarding new employees, launching new brands & developing new processes. It will continue to get much better as the new hiring process has slowed & we have strong resources in place to for the continued growth of all employees

    Advice to Management

Put people & brand resources in the right place. Continued sales training for all employees & leadership.

I have been working at Pabst Brewing Co. full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've been with Pabst for 37 years and cannot think of a better place to work! Their compensation and benefits, I think, are the best in the industry. Although a large company it has a very "family" feel. Everyone is made to feel special and needed by the company for their respective roles. There is also room for promotions within the company., so many opportunities for advancement.

We also have the best Executive Leadership Team around who really listen to the employees.

    Cons

There are not any cons working for Pabst.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.
