Pros

Fair wage and decent benefits

Cons

Just watch the YouTube videos and you'll see for yourself. Arrogance and Pride of CEO and Senior leaders challenges the promoted Christian values. I heard name calling more times than not and the turnover is evidence of problems. When pride is allowed...humility is absent. Just listen to the videos and count how many times the words "my, mine and I" are used. Dangerous dynamic to be around and promote change.

To our former employee - thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback. Your comments certainly hurt and caused me as the CEO to examine my heart and my behavior. I feel terrible that you believe my pride and arrogance were the source of problems at PacMoore and for you personally. Please accept my sincere apology. My growth as a leader is very important. I have spent eight years with CEO training groups and with personal coaches in an effort to develop my character so I could effectively lead PacMoore. Humility is not an easy character trait in which to find proficiency and based on your feedback I may need to increase my effort. By allowing others to speak into the brokenness of my life, I have discovered a number of character issues that have hurt PacMoore employees. I have had the opportunity to apologize to some of them in person. I would be very open to meeting with you so I can apologize for whatever I did to hurt you. If we cannot meet, I hope this public apology will help you in some way. Please be assured I will continue to work with an outside coach to help me develop a deeper sense of humility. Thank you very much for taking the time to help us grow as a team at PacMoore. All My Best Bill Moore CEO PacMoore

Unethical, dishonest, and disgusting

Pros

There are no pros to working for this company or for Bill Moore. The higher management is dishonest, bullying, and unethical. The owner, Bill Moore, claims to have values he honors at this company but does absolutely nothing to re-enforce that, nor does he care about anything he promises in word or promotes as his ethics.

Cons

Everything. Expect to be overworked, overtasked, under paid by unmanageable amounts because you're promised a raise that you will never recieve. In fact, you're more likely to be fired than promoted or given a raise. People are fired over company mistakes, walk out because of mistreatment, and so on, while upper management does whatever they like and talks down to their staff constantly. GO WORK ANYWHERE ELSE, EVEN MCDONALDS! Their Christian values are false and their family is important nonsense is completely fake.

First of all, thank you for taking time to provide your feedback and thoughts. Without honest feedback (even that which is difficult to hear) we will not recognize areas we have opportunities to improve on. We are sincerely disappointed that your employment experience did not meet our desire for our employees to grow in ways that cause them to look back at their time with PacMoore as not only positive but transformational as well. We definitely don’t desire the environment you describe to be reality for anyone. We are always concerned that the day to day pressures of running a business, hiring, training, accountability, and the need to make a profit to keep the doors open and our employees employed will appear to conflict with the values we hold dear. Sometimes there are appearances of conflict while other times there are actual and regrettable misalignments. Because culture and employee transformation and values are critical to us we are constantly working on these areas. We are currently working with a consultant to help us ensure we are leading the organization in such a way that everyone not only hears this and senses it but experiences it as well. The backbone for the work of this consultant is personal and confidential input from current employees. We are committed to providing avenues for comfortable and honest feedback in other ways as well which includes quarterly employee forums and individual employee reviews that are more frequent than just once per year. Our vision statement is that PacMoore is passionately focused on growing people so we can be exceptionally good at feeding the world. This is written with our people as our primary focus. Our desire to have a broad and eternal impact that brings honor to God and blesses people begins in our plants and extends out from there. If you would like to share more about your experience or ask me any specific questions, please email me at cbekermeier@pacmoore.com so we can schedule time to speak. Thanks again for your feedback. All my best to you and your path forward.

We are sincerely sorry you had a bad experience. Your review is exactly the opposite of what we want to hear from employees and ex-employees because our vision and mission and values were established with the desire to provide opportunities for growth, positive change and fulfillment at work. That said, we do want to hear what our employees have to say and don’t desire to force anyone to align with what we believe so we are careful never to do so – we are sorry you interpreted it that way.
