I worked at Pace International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy job. Easy advancement. Other companies to work for. Discount. Met cool people. If you need a job I would recommend. They will hire anybody and it's a good place to start if you don't have call center experience.

    Cons

Temporary advancement. Unorganized. There are about 3-4 companies concentrix work with. You may get moved to a different company until they don't need you anymore with a different position and salary. could be making more or less.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with employees more effectively when their jobs are starting/ending.

    Pros

Great people, lots of opportunity for advancement, lots of learning opportunities for those starting out in their career, great place to start. Conveniently located, small cafeteria on site.

    Cons

Depending on the position, pay is not very competitive. However the tuition reimbursement policy can offset this if you are a student, so this is a great place for someone wanting to go back to school or continue school.

    Advice to Management

Management should consider market pay, and ensure pay is fair and competitive. Make sure incentive programs are properly tracked and applied as well.

I worked at Pace International (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay while you're looking for a better job.

    Cons

-The rules are overly enforced I.E: if your cellphone rings you're fired.
-Mediocre training, once on the floor, good luck.
-The turn over rate for employees is ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

Rethink the way you train your employees, they would probably stay longer if trained properly.

I have been working at Pace International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great local boss, great office atmosphere, great co-workers (for the most part).

    Cons

A lot of mistrust between various cities, SanJose staff think they are loosing their jobs to Austin (not true), Boca staff think they are the only ones that can do things right. Too much in-fighting in distant teams, with senior management onlky making things worse.

    Advice to Management

Use realistic numbers in planning. Don't use inflated numbers, and then penalizes the staff because they are not met. If the customer's forecast is ALWAYS inflated and later downgraded, use an estimate of the downgraded numbers if the internal forecast. If "any Pace historian" could have predicted the customer's revised forecast, why didn't we use THAT revised prediction in our own forecast? Use real numbers for planning and get real results. Doing anything else shows a great deal of dysfunction.

    Pros

Company is a leader provider in its field with large captive customers.
Development work can be interesting in certain disciplines.
Çompany cares about employees. Bonus plans are decent.
    Work/life balance is good.

    Cons

Telecom industry is sometimes slow moving and not very exciting.
Not a lot of new or different product introduction since it's all Telecom driven.
Equity oriented incentives aren't competitive with other public Silicon Valley companies.

    Advice to Management

Improve employee stock purchase and merit stock award programs.

    Pros

easy, simple, not really technical, but somewhat. lots of overtime every week and paydays are every friday. it's a job you can work at to "work", but that's really it.

    Cons

no assigned seating so you can wind up sitting where a total slob just sat, some managers do absolutely nothing. I recieved a very good compliment from a customer and my supervisor was in a meeting so another supervisor took the call and never relayed it to mine. if you want days off, you need to request weeks in advance (literally), otherwise forget it.

    Advice to Management

be more involved with your team, people will feel appreciated and there won't be so much turnover. ease up on all the call factors (time, callbacks, etc.) if sometihng doesn't work right the first time it should be fixed no matter how many tries it takes.
