Pros
Like a lot of transportation jobs, when first starting it’s a little difficult. But considering what you do along with the salary and the benefits package, it’s a great place to work. There’s room for advancement and most of the people there are nice people to work with/for. I resigned because I moved to Florida. But otherwise that would’ve been the last job for me. If I could go back in time. I would’ve started there right after I retired from the Army in 98 instead of 08. If you show up on time and do your job, you’ll be able to work there until you decide to retire. Or until the Lord comes back! Whichever comes first 😇
Cons
The split shift is something you have to work around with your family life unless you’re single. But my wife and I used it to our advantage and ran errands and did our doctor appointments during the split time. We live about 10 minutes away from from the garage

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Pace Suburban Bus for more than a year
Pros
Benefits are great. Good pay, great insurance, pension.
Cons
Pace is "Government" and is treated as such. Everything has to go out for bids which makes a HUGE amount of paperwork. There are people still working there that should have retired years ago but hang on for the benefits. As in Government, it takes forever to get anything decided and going into a project.
