    Decent pay 91,000 for
    Bosu

    Cons

    Bad planning and they use and abuse there employees and get pay cuts all
    The time or
    Demoted due to down turn or lose
    Your job to a Russian labor hand

    Advice to Management

    Finish what you started with it's all about the people. It never was it's all about the money at the end of the day

    Pros

    Family atmosphere, flex schedule, higher salaries, CEO is down to earth, everyone gets along, open communication, overall a great place to work with lots of room for growth.

    Cons

    I do not have anything I dislike about Pacific Drilling.

    Advice to Management

    Keep growing and never stop listening to your employees. If you don't respect your employees then you wont be respected. Never demand respect. You get what you give.

    Pros

    Great people on the rigs and in the office
    They are trying to protect their employees during the down turn

    Cons

    Some Rig Managers are out of touch with their people
    Some Rig Managers think that fear and intimidation are how to run the rigs
    Not allowing your staff to input new ideas

    Advice to Management

    Throw out the old style (80's) management of fear and intimidation and get on with trusting your people to do their job.

    Can be a very good company,good pay.

    Cons

    Poor upper management, VMT on the rigs try to intimidate the guys on the rigs and make up rules as they need to so its' benifcial to them.

    Advice to Management

    Take a long hard look at yourselfes and don;t make promises you do not intend to keep.

    leadership climate, financial stability, management fighting among themselves.
