I worked at Pacific Drilling full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great executive team, lots of integrity, transparent in communications, good work/life balance in corporate, decent pay and benefits in comparison to competitors, decision making process can be relatively quick due to the lack of needless bureaucracy.

    Cons

Offshore rotations can be tough if you are on 35/35, can be challenge between offshore and corporate in the way of communications. Sometimes decisions are made at corporate without understanding full impact offshore. It is the O&G industry, so there is always the concern of the next negative impact. No real 'cons' to speak of, overall good company in a bad market.
