I worked at Pacific International Bank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly coworkers and executives, decent benefit(100% covered health care),, good location( main office-easy access from the highway Interstate-5)

    Cons

Few experienced mid-level staffs, many veteran senior executives, Lots of inexperienced entry level employees. No decent company-wide training program for them. The company exercises respectful HR policy("promoting from within"), but former tellers can't always provide best outcome.

    Advice to Management

I respected the Promoting from within policy- giving young staffs an opportinity to grow and cutting salary expenses sametime. But sometimes, Experienced experts are required to get the job done.

    Pros

It has good benefits and the people are pretty friendly.
Provide lunches a couple times a week.
Good place to start out at.

    Cons

It's difficult to move up without being fluent in Korean.
The training is not very extensive.
Wage might be a little disappointing

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Good people to work with, friendly atmosphere, almost guaranteed to work exactly 40 hours a week, good opportunities to learn about banking in general, cheap lunch provided albeit only limited to Korean cuisine

    Cons

criminally low salary, needy (sometimes even rude) customers, the company is pretty much underemployed all around. Not too much support for training

    Advice to Management

Please pay more to your employees. They need to feed themselves as well. Also, please care more for your own employees' growth.
