    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Pacific Islands Club full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Its a fun environment. Constant stimulation and change. A very social setting, you have constant guest interaction. I have met so many individuals from all around the world. I have become such a different person and really grown since starting here.

    Cons

Lots of hours and burnout is a real thing. Being 'on' all the time does take a toll on your body and mind sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Quality over quantity. New management has hired a lot of teenagers with 20+ year olds creating a weird shift of environment at times.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Pacific Islands Club

    Pros

Nice place to escape to, fun place if you love island and adventure. 600/month including plane tickets, food, and shared room.

    Cons

If you are planning on interning there, don't. No professionalism whatsoever. Not worth the time. It's the worst mistake I've ever made going there. Very unprofessional staff. Employees laughs and talk crap about customers because they think customers couldn't understand. Very unsanitary, they attempted to place a pot of soy sauce on the table after they found a fly in there. A lot of sexual harassment, physically and...

I worked at Pacific Islands Club for more than a year

    Pros

PIC is a wonderful resort that had amazing perks! The culture is diverse in every aspect, the location is an island paradise, and the people are some of the best I have every had the pleasure of working with.

    Cons

The hours can be extremely long especially during peak seasons. Not everyone can accept the responsibilities of being a life guard.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Pacific Islands Club full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You get to work on the beautiful island of Saipan and experience people from different cultures

    Cons

-Poorly staffed, only 1 day off per-week. You will always work closer to 60 hours per week rather than 40. Typically, 55+ hours per week. -Very unprofessional management. Management pays little to no attention to employee safety or well-being. Excessive amount of rules for employees. -You often work 10 hour days (but you will have to clock out for every meal, so it's more like 13 hour days), 6 days a week. -Work to...
